We had a short interview with Mina Ghabrial, General Manager of Xcelirate.
Over our collaboration, we have successfully placed candidates in Lead and Senior positions, including DevOps Engineers, QA Automation Engineers, and Tech Project Managers to their team.
Q. What inspired you and Xcelirate’s team to look for a Recruitment Partner?
Mina: We were looking for Recruitment Agencies in Barcelona because we had some trouble finding talent locally, and we were receiving some applications but they weren’t entirely the best fit. When we opened our offices in Barcelona, we wanted outstanding candidates, those that receive multiple emails and messages with offers everyday. Our criteria for a Recruitment Partner was 1. To be working in the tech industry, and 2. Be ambitious and have big growth plans for the future, because these are usually the ones that go the extra mile to deliver the service.
Q. What made you choose Fut-Ure as your Recruitment Partner?
Mina: At the beginning of our collaboration, we were working with multiple other agencies, then we started to limit the number of partners we had, and also reduce the amount of roles shared with these agencies. We decided to keep working with Fut-Ure because we saw the level of work being put into each role given. We could perceive that you successfully manage the whole process for each position and we highly appreciate that.
Q. How was getting started with Fut-Ure?
Mina: I really like that you put the personal touch to it. Even during Covid, you had the initiative to visit us at the office so that you could see what we were offering to candidates. Also, the regular reports and updates really helped with keeping track of what was happening in the market. You made sure to keep us on the loop, and that simplified the process for us. We’ve truly enjoyed working with the Recruitment Project Managers because you have an approachable, open, and friendly personality and that adds even more value to this collaboration.
Q. What is the biggest impact Fut-Ure has brought to Xcelirate?
Mina: Many times we had to chase agencies to give us an update on their work,and we would receive a very standard reply. With Fut-Ure, the constant reports gave us reassurance that you were actually working on our roles.We highly appreciate your proactivity when keeping us updated on the market, difficulties with the roles, and what efforts were being put into our positions. On another note, you could also fill very keen positions in our company that we had been trying to fill for months, and you did it!
Q. Would you recommend Fut-Ure to other companies?
Mina: Definitely! I would recommend Fut-Ure specifically for people working in the IT industry and most likely Barcelona. You are very specialized into what you do and have quite the expertise on the market.
